          Back to SLU: Fall 2020

          Planning for a Safe Start

Saint Louis University's fall 2020 semester will start earlier than originally scheduled, on August 17 and end on Tuesday, Nov. 24 — with final exams happening online after Thanksgiving — allowing students to avoid back-and-forth travel this semester and for the University to prepare for a possible second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The decision to return to campus in the fall was made by a broad group of University leaders through extended and rigorous discussions, rooted in our values and the Ignatian approach to education, and with the best information available.

No doubt, this semester will look and feel different than any previous semester. When 500 Internal Server Error

          About Fall 2020 at SLU

Life at SLU in the COVID Era

While new public health practices will be required of each of us on campus, we understand much of a student or employee’s life happens elsewhere.

While our on-campus environment this fall will include social distancing and health safeguards, we are exploring ways to foster social dynamism while promoting safe, responsible action. While thinking creatively, we can participate in social activities while honoring OneSLU and protecting the greater St. Louis community.

          Fall Welcome Activities

The first days of the fall semester are special at SLU — and this year will be no exception. Plans for new ways to celebrate SLU traditions are underway and our student leaders are finding creative ways to connect.

Plans are underway for our official welcome to new students with safeguards in place. Look for event information soon.
